It is the ideal first pair of pointe shoes for the young beginner. Because of its tailored construction it is not expected to last as long as our standard Pointe Shoe'

It is favoured because it finds a balance between strength and lightness whilst retaining its quietness. It has the ability to mould to the shape of the individual dancer's foot, so providing comfort & support, yet retaining the flexibility required to allow the dancer to 'work through the foot.

The Demi Pointe/soft block shoes are made especially for the beginner. Strongly recommended for use in preparation for Pointe work. They will strengthen the foot and ankles and get the foot used to working in the confined space of a Pointe shoe. It also makes the fitting of an actual pointe shoe much easier. 
 
It is highly recommended that dancers use these shoes for at least 3-6 months before going onto pointe.  These shoes have a V-shaped medium vamp, and 1/2 box which provide no pressure on the forefoot. The medium toe platform provides perfect balance and placement. The shoe is all handmade and fits standard feet. They are made of pale salmon satin with a glued smooth leather sole.
